FULL WATCH LIST

LUBBOCK, Texas – Houston Baseball junior Aaron Fletcher continues to impress on a national level as he was named to the College Baseball Foundation Pitcher of the Year Watch List, announced by the organization this week.

The southpaw owns a league-leading 1.08 ERA, which also ranks third in the nation through nine starts. He has tossed two complete games this season and has fanned 53 in 58.1 innings.

2018 marked the first year for Fletcher as a starting pitcher and he has continued to showcase dominant numbers thus far. He has moved into first place all-time with a career-low ERA of 1.54.

Fletcher is just one of two American Athletic Conference hurlers on the list, joining Pete Strzelecki from USF.

The initial watch list features 78 of the best arms in all of college baseball. The award, sponsored by Diamond, will be presented later this summer by the College Baseball Foundation.
